The plain-English version of how this site handles your information. The short answer: I collect what I need to reply to you and get paid, and I never sell it.
This policy covers adaptautomations.com, operated by Adapt Automations LLC ("Adapt Automations," "I," "me"), a Georgia limited liability company based in Valdosta, Georgia. It explains what information is collected when you use this site, why, and what happens to it. Questions any time: [email protected].
When you submit the contact form, I collect the information you type: your name, email address, phone number (optional), business name (optional), and your message. It's used to reply to you and, if you become a client, to keep track of our work together. Submitting the form triggers an automatic email confirmation to you, and follow-up reminder emails may be sent if I haven't heard back. Every one of those stops the moment you reply or ask it to stop.
If you book a walkthrough, scheduling runs through Cal.com, which collects your name, email, and the time you pick, and places the appointment on my business calendar (Google Workspace).
Payments are processed by Stripe. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe over an encrypted connection; they never touch my servers and I never see or store them. Stripe shares with me only what an invoice needs: your name, email, what you bought, and payment status. Stripe's own privacy policy is at stripe.com/privacy.
If you're a client using the portal, signing in requires your email address, and a session cookie keeps you signed in. That cookie exists only to keep your session working. It isn't used to track you, and there are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies anywhere on this site.
This site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track individuals or build profiles. It tells me things like how many people visited a page, not who they are.
I run a small, boring set of well-known services, and each one only gets what its job requires:
Inquiries and client records are kept while they're useful for serving you, and financial records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. If you want your inquiry information deleted, email me and I'll remove it unless a legal obligation says otherwise.
You can ask me what information I have about you, ask for a copy, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it: [email protected]. You can stop follow-up emails by replying "stop" or clicking the link in the email. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's privacy laws, and I'll honor reasonable requests regardless of which state you're writing from.
This site is for businesses and isn't directed at children under 13, and I don't knowingly collect their information.
If this policy changes, the new version goes up on this page with a new effective date. Material changes for existing clients get an email.
